I LOVE cooking, so I see a lot of really great recipes.

This one is so obvious, I can’t believe I haven’t made this before. Simple is not a simple enough word. As you’ll read on the site, your toddler can help with much of it, it’s so easy. Such a wonderful way to get them involved in the kitchen early.

Start with a few sheets of puff pastry. While they are thawing out, pre-heat your oven to 180’F. Mix up a little water with an egg to thin it out a little. Cut the puff pastry into shapes with cookie cutters or just a knife.

Brush the egg mixture onto the shapes, top with your favorite cheese and bake until the cheese is bubbly and the pastry puffs and starts browning about 15 to 20 minutes. Then just cool and enjoy.

I found it on a wonderful blog about childhood. I know that you’ll get a lot of great information from it;  Childhood101
